The Power of PDF – Markup Tools
While PDF documents have become the standard for all sorts of documentation, including the INTERAC Document Management System, there are some powerful, but often overlooked features built into the Adobe Acrobat software that can be very helpful.
It’s easy to add notes, annotations, and other markup options directly in a PDF
document. This can be very helpful when documents are sent for review. If you are not familiar with these tools, it would be worthwhile to take a minute to see what they could do for you.
Here are a some easy to use markup tools:
- Add Sticky Notes (think Post It)
- Highlight text
- Add a stamp
- Insert, strikethrough or underline text
- Add text boxes and callouts
- Draw lines, arrows and shapes
- Use a pencil to draw
- Erase
